      About Us

      About Barnes Day Care

      Barnes Day care provides high quality childcare for babies and children from age 10 months until they start primary school.

      We work in a welcoming homely environment with a feeling of a big family combined with the benefits of a day care. Children learn through play, songs, games, conversation and exciting weekly topics. They are looked after by experienced teachers, so parents can return to work confident that their children are getting first class care.

      The EYFS is followed closely and children learn with confidence in a safe secure environment. Parents receive feedback about their children in the form of a diary and also through reports and photographs. We are Ofsted registered and staff hold paediatric first aid certificates. Children are looked after with great care and receive three nutritionally balanced meals every day. Nappies, creams and meals are included in the daily fee.

      Day Care Class

      From the age of 2.5 years the children are part of our day care class and are given excellent preparation for school in numeracy and literacy. They are also given the social skills needed for life, such as self-care, good manners and consideration for their peers. Small classes take place in a modern environment, embracing traditional values. Children leave us to attend a variety of primary schools, both state and private.
